ITU produces report on spectrum management around the world
The International Telecommunications Union has carried out a survey of spectrum management in 189 countries.
The report gives the relevant authority dealing with spectrum issues and contains a brief summary of the principles underlying each country’s approach. It also contains links to key policy documents and other resources like frequency tables. It is free and available for download as a PDF here. The survey was produced for the Market Mechanisms for Spectrum Management workshop held in January. The Chairman’s report on this event, written by William Lehr, Research Associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is being released over the next few days. It will be circulated to delegates and will be available for download on the workshop website.
